Tagum City is a First Class City in the 1st Congressional District of the Province of Davao del Norte, Philippines serving as its provincial capital and center of commerce and trade.

The Tagum City is considered the fastest growing city in the South. The city is 75 percent IRA dependent. The Tagum's economic enterprise program was cited as the best practice innovation for Davao Region.
