The Municipality of Sto Tomas was famous with their exemplary contribution and the successful implementation of  the Republic Act 9003, also known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Program

Beside the garbage dump site is the tranquil garden, the place is the haven to all the visitors.

The segregation of garbage are usual routine in the municipality, fines are strictly implemented.

The bio-degradable garbage is converted and used as "pataba ng lupa", the soil  then available to market for the LGU's small income.

The non-biodegradable are converted using the machine export from Japan, some of the products of the garbage are (blocks, toilet bowl, bags and handicrafts)
